The Armoury

Date published: Jan 3rd, 2019

**Welcome to [The Hallwyl Museum](https://goo.gl/qbZSY4) in Stockholm, Sweden.** Once the home of [Walther](https://goo.gl/79nUeT) and [Wilhelmina von Hallwyl](https://goo.gl/Y8iiJs). This room features the main part of Wilhelmina von Hallwyl’s collection of antique arms and armour. The collection, typical of its period, focuses on arms for hunting and finely decorated pieces. The weapons are hung according to their various categories, such as firearms, suits of armour and white-arms, and arranged in neat patterns. The esthetical experience of the room and its objects was important. ![](https://goo.gl/24GdE6) The images for this project were captured using an [array](https://goo.gl/ePHjDr) of four Panasonic Lumix GX8 cameras.
