Chinese Tiger, 5th C BCE

From the object's page on artsmia.org: 'This tiger with socket clearly served as the base for an upright support of some sort. Treatment of certain details like the rope patterns around the eyes, on the socket and eyebrows, and fetlocks and the granulation pattern on the ears indicate a date around 500 BCE.' More information about the object here: http://collections.artsmia.org/art/1035/tiger-china Made with a few hundred 20-megapixel photos, built in Agisoft Photoscan. This is a low-res version of the object; contact permissions@artsmia.org for a higher-resolution file.
