Depth Camera Cables

If something is not working, the easiest way is to check if all the cables are connected correctly and fully plugged in.

Kinect Azure Power Cable

  • Unplug the power cable and plug back in
  • Not applied to Realsense – these do not have power cables.

USB cable

  • USB Port – Make sure it’s USB 3 port.
  • USB Cable – test with native cable which came together with the box.
If you bought additional cable, it’s important that you use a good cable, not the cheap one. We tested with this one. You can find it listed in the Equipment List provided.
  • USB Cable – make sure it’s properly plugged.
  • USB Port Controllers – If you are using two cameras on one PC, make sure to use separate controllers.

Kinect Azure Sync Cables

  • Network is connected, but you only want to view the depth cameras on Client computer

Disconnect the Sync cable which connects the Server Computer cameras with the Client Computer cameras.
